Fruit Custard with Jelly

Ingredients

For the Fruit Mix

1 cup apple cubes

1 cup banana slices (optional)

1 cup papaya cubes

1 cup pineapple cubes

½ cup grapes or cherries (optional)

1 cup mixed jelly cubes (red, green, yellow)

For the Creamy Custard

2 cups milk

3 tablespoons custard powder (vanilla flavor)

4 tablespoons sugar (add more or less to taste)

1 cup cold sweetened condensed milk

½ cup fresh cream (optional for extra richness)

1 tablespoon chia seeds or basil seeds (optional)


🥣 Preparation Method

Step 1: Prepare the Custard

  1. In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with 5 tablespoons of cold milk until smooth.
  2. Heat the remaining milk in a pot and add sugar.
  3. When the milk starts to warm up, pour in the custard mixture while stirring continuously.
  4. Cook on medium heat until the custard becomes thick and creamy.
  5. Let it cool completely at room temperature.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Base

  1. Once the custard is cool, add condensed milk and fresh cream.
  2. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. You can add soaked chia seeds or basil seeds for extra texture.

Step 3: Add Fruits & Jelly

  1. Add all the chopped fruits to the bowl.
  2. Add the jelly cubes.
  3. Pour the creamy custard mixture over the fruits and mix gently.

Step 4: Chill & Serve

Pour the mixture into cups or bowls.

Refrigerate for 2–3 hours to chill.

Serve cold.
