Late-night sweet tooth fix — just like Grandma used to make 🍪💛
Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions :
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter and sugar until smooth. Add the egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt, and stir until fully combined and creamy.
Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy these classic peanut butter cookies with a cold glass of milk — just like Grandma used to make.
