- 2 large lemons (freshly squeezed)
- 1β2 tablespoons fresh ginger (grated or sliced)
- 1 liter (4 cups) warm water
- 1β2 tablespoons honey (optional)
Optional add-ins:
- A pinch of turmeric
- Fresh mint leaves

- Prepare ginger
Peel and grate or thinly slice the ginger. - Heat water
Warm the water (not boiling β just hot). - Infuse
Add ginger to warm water.
Let it steep for 10β15 minutes. - Add lemon
Strain (optional), then add fresh lemon juice. - Sweeten (optional)
Add honey and stir well. - Serve
Drink warm, or chill and serve over ice.
