Slow Cooker Sausages with Onions
Ingredients
8 sausages beef
2 large onions, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Brown the sausages (optional but recommended):
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the sausages for 3–4 minutes until lightly browned.
Prepare the slow cooker:
Place the sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the sausages:
Put the browned sausages on top of the onions.
Make the sauce:
In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper.
Cook:
Pour the sauce over the sausages.
Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or
HIGH for 3–4 hours.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or bread.
