Makes: 24–30 squares
🛒 Ingredients
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- ¾ cup evaporated milk
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 1 package (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- ¼ tsp salt
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Boil the mixture: In a large saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Cook: Once boiling, continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
- Add chocolate: Remove from heat and immediately stir in the chocolate chips and marshmallow creme until completely melted and smooth.
- Add flavor: Stir in vanilla and chopped walnuts or pecans.
- Pour: Quickly spread the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Set: Let cool at room temperature until firm, or refrigerate for about 2 hours.
- Cut & serve: Lift the fudge from the pan, cut into squares, and enjoy! 🍫❤️
Tip: Don’t rush the boiling stage—the full 5-minute boil helps the fudge set properly.
