Creamy Mushroom Beef Casserole

Ingredients (3–4 servings)

  • 500–700 g beef stew meat (cut into cubes)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup water (or beef broth)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
  2. Place the raw beef cubes in a glass baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the meat.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with water (or broth).
  5. Pour the mixture over the beef (just like in the image).
  6. Cover tightly with foil.
  7. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the beef is tender and juicy.

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta
  • Add a side of steamed vegetables or a simple salad
